All rinpoches, acaryas and masters of dharma-listening sessions from temples, monasteries, Buddhist organizations, and dharma-listening centers:
Amitabha!
Since the announcement of "Merit Recording of Acaryas and Masters of Dharma-Listening Sessions for Their Excellent Active Development" from the International Buddhism Sangha Association (IBSA) was distributed, we have been continuously receiving information about dharma-listening center development submitted by dharma-listening centers around the world. Buddha-dharma and dharma lessons brought to this world by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III have rectified and corrected the chaotic situation with the Buddhist circle in this dharma-ending era and resulted in a correct and complete recognition toward Buddhism among the general public in the society. This movement of studying the dharma lessons expounded by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and entering deeply into practice from theory has already quickly propagated into various places in the world. This has brought benefits to mankind and auspiciousness to the world.
On August 6 and 7, 2011, IBSA will hold the Conference to Commend the Merit of Acaryas and Masters of Dharma-Listening Sessions for Their Excellent Active Development in Hong Kong. The attendees will also respectively listen to discourses on the profound, subtle and marvelous essence of the dharma related to the Supreme and Unsurpassed Mahamudra of Liberation, in order to assist cultivators to enter deeply into the practice and cultivation of the Supreme and Unsurpassed Mahamudra of Liberation. We hope that you will all actively participate, so as to have correct view and enter the practice early. This benefits everyone and leads to happiness, health, and complete good fortune and wisdom. Rinpoches and those who meet the qualifications of acaryas and masters of dharma-listening sessions can all register for attending this conference.
Buddhists who have dharma-listening centers or who have already met the prerequisite of establishing dharma-listening centers can apply for taking the examination for masters of dharma-listening sessions this time. If you are a master of dharma-listening sessions or a dharma-listening cultivator who has developed ten or more dharma-listening centers, you are qualified for applying for being promoted to the position of acarya.
The registrations for attending the Conference to Commend the Merit of Acaryas and Masters of Dharma-Listening Sessions for Their Excellent Active Development, and applying for the qualifications of acaryas and taking the examination for masters of dharma-listening sessions are accepted online via internet only. The registration deadline is May 31, 2011. Web links for online registration will be published to all in the near future.
IBSA will prepare CDs of dharma lessons for leaders of dharma-listening centers to request respectively on the spot at the end of the conference. At the time of online registration, please list clearly the dharma lessons your dharma-listening center currently has, to facilitate IBSA in preparing CDs of dharma lessons.
The location of this year's conference is AsiaWorld-Expo. The address is: AsiaWorld-Expo, Exhibit Hall #11 (West Entrance), Hong Kong International Airport, Lantau Island, Hong Kong. (Please see the attachment for detailed information on the location, accommodation and transportation.)
The basic registration fee is US$30-$100. Because IBSA holds various activities throughout the years, the contribution always does not cover the expenses. Therefore, attendees please submit the registration fee as mentioned above (the fee can be submitted on site at the conference). Otherwise IBSA will not be able to bear the expenses. (At that time, acaryas, masters of dharma-listening sessions, and dharma-listening cultivators can also make donations to cover IBSA's operating and activity expenses as you please. Fees collected will not be used for private purposes and will all be spent on public affairs, propagating Buddha-dharma and benefiting living beings, and will be reported to the IRS for tax purposes.)
